The ministry of the National Lutheran Home & Village is blessed. It is blessed by the people who are
served and who serve. It is often noted that some residents cannot afford to pay the total cost of care, even
with Medicare and Medicaid support. Through faithful stewardship of resources and generous donors, we have
been able to establish the Rockville Fund to provide for those who cannot provide for themselves. Gifts can
be sent in honor of people’s lives or events in their lives. Gifts can also be sent in memory of loved ones.
Each year, bequests are realized when a generous donor remembers NLHV in an estate plan.
Planned gifts are also given through charitable trusts or charitable gift annuities. In the current age of
fluctuating interest rates, gift annuities often offer a better and more stable rate of return. Would you consider
