Frank McGovern
Executive Director
Frank McGovern has dedicated 19 years of his career to the National Lutheran Home & Village at Rockville. Prior to becoming Executive Director, he served in successive positions as the Administrator, Assistant Administrator/Chief of Operations and the Director of Environmental Services. Passionate about quality assurance and quality improvement he is a devotee of culture change within senior care, is a licensed nursing home administrator and is committed to resident centered care. Mr. McGovern earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia Union College graduating magna cum laude. He is pursuing a double masters degree program in Health Administration and Business Administration at the University of Maryland University College. He is a lay leader and member of Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church in College Park, Md., where he headed the construction committee for the Mission House and assists with audio-visual support. A native New Yorker, Mr. McGovern is a former U.S. Marine.
